Do you accept insurance?

We do not accept or file insurance. However, we do provide super bills which will be available to you through your client portal. If you choose, you may submit your super bill to your insurance provider for reimbursement as part of your out-of-network benefits. You may call the number on the back of your insurance card to determine if you have out-of-network coverage for mental health services. If you have questions, please give us a call and we can help walk you through this process.

Do you bill at the time of service?

Yes, payment is due at the time of service. We do require a credit card be on file prior to your appointment. All credit card information is encrypted in our HIPAA compliant software.

Each client is responsible for managing the finances of the psychotherapy relationship. We accept all credit cards and checks.

What is your cancelation policy?

Your session time is reserved for you. Sessions must be canceled at least 24 hours ahead of time to avoid a charge. Sessions that are not canceled 24 hour in advance will be billed to you.

Do you offer in person or virtual, telehealth sessions?

All services are are available in person at 3801 Kirby Drive Suite 344 or through our HIPAA-compliant telehealth software. Typical sessions are 50 minutes in length, unless otherwise specified by your clinician.

Can you share my information with anyone?

No. Confidentiality is strictly maintained in our practice and we follow HIPAA guidelines. We are committed to treating and using any protected health information responsibly.

If you would like our team to work with another health care provider on your behalf, you will be asked to sign a release of information prior to collaboration.

Will you share clinical information via email or text?

Due to confidentiality, we do not share any clinical information or personal information via email or text. Current clients, please use your client portal if you need to communicate with your therapist or book an appointment.

Do you offer walk in appointments?

No. We see clients by appointment only.


What are your office hours?

Our clinic is open weekdays from 9-6pm. We are closed on the weekends. We offer a variety of office hours to accommodate schedules, and are committed to returning calls within 24 hours. Weekend inquiries will be returned on the next business day.

How can I book an appointment?

You may call our office or visit your client portal to schedule, reschedule or cancel any appointment.

Do you provide psychotherapy via email, text or voicemail?

No. We do not provide services via e-mail, text or voicemail, though we are available for brief administrative contact by these means. Please note that we cannot guarantee the privacy of e-mail or text messages as they are not HIPAA compliant.

Do you provide emergency services?

No. We do not provide emergency services. We are an outpatient, psychotherapy clinic and we do not have an answering service. If you need immediate assistance or are in crisis, please call 911 or Crisis Intervention of Houston Hotline at 713.468.5463. 

Can you refill my prescriptions for psychiatric medications?

No. We do not have any psychiatrists on staff. If you are in need of a psychiatrist, we are happy to refer you to one.

How do I know if a therapist at Well Mind Body is right for me?

Choosing the right therapist is so important but it doesn’t need to be stressful. Give us a call and we are happy to answer any questions you may have.
