Society for Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis: 70th Annual Workshops & Scientific Program

I am a member of The Society for Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis and was lucky enough to be able to attend and present at the 70th Annual Workshops & Scientific Program in New Orleans this month. My presentation was a review of the literature regarding the use of hypnosis for pain management during labor and delivery. As you may know, I oftentimes utilize clinical hypnosis with clients to help them prepare for labor and delivery.

If you are pregnant, trying to conceive or in the postpartum period, hypnosis may be a helpful tool for you to use. If you are interested in learning more about it, please feel free to contact me. </p>

A distinguishing feature of the Society is its emphasis on empirical inquiry and the evidence-base of hypnosis" (SECH, 2019).
