Going through a divorce can feel isolating, but it doesn’t have to be. Our group offers a welcoming, safe space where you can connect with other women who understand what you’re going through. Led by Alberta Totz, JD, LPC-Associate, our group is dedicated to helping women like you regain confidence, find emotional support, and learn practical strategies to navigate this new chapter.

Group Details:

  • Location: Well Mind Body, 3801 Kirby Drive, Suite 344

  • Date & Time: Second Thursday of each month, 6-7:30 pm

  • This group will be held on the following dates in 2024 & 2025: 

    October 9th, November 14th, December 12th, January 9th, February 13, April 10th, May 15th.

    *Please note there will not be a meeting on March 13th due to Spring Break. 

  • Format: Open group—join any session that fits your schedule!

Meet Alberta Totz, JD, LPC-Associate

Alberta brings a unique blend of legal and therapeutic expertise to our group. As a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate with a background in law, she understands the complexities of divorce from both an emotional and practical standpoint. Her compassionate approach creates a space where women feel heard, supported, and encouraged to rebuild their lives with purpose.

Elizabeth Miller, Ph.D., LPC-S, LMFT-S

Dr. Elizabeth Miller is a psychotherapist, clinical supervisor, researcher, speaker, and mom of three, who specializes in women’s mental health, chronic illness, and compassion-focused trauma recovery. She opened her private clinical practice, Well Mind Body after identifying a need for an integrative and holistic approach to healing. She provides support for women, teenagers, couples, and families, who are looking for a mind-body approach to mental health. Dr. Miller merges modern neuroscience with research-based mind-body techniques to help her clients obtain optimal health.
