Houston's 3rd Annual Compassion Week April 22-29, 2017

Houston's 3rd annual Compassion Week is from April 22nd through April 29th and begins with Compassion Fest on Saturday, April 22nd at noon in Levy Park. The Center for Creative Resources will be hosting a booth at Compassion Fest to kickoff the week. Similar to the community art installation project from 2016, Growing Compassion will be a 5-foot long tree branch adorned with compassionate messages and art from passersby at Compassion Fest to symbolize Houston's emphasis on growing kindness, empathy, tolerance, diversity, and goodwill in our city. Stop by the booth and add your message as you enjoy family-friendly live performances, food vendors, games, and the booths of other local, compassionate organizations.
