What is Integrative Psychotherapy?

Two of the most common questions I receive are, “What is Integrative Psychotherapy and how do I know if it is right for me?”.

Integrative psychotherapists work with the individual characteristics, preferences, needs, physical abilities, spiritual beliefs, overall health status and priorities of each client.

We are not married to one style of therapy or approach. Our highly trained, integrative therapists work with you to help you achieve your goals, maximize your health and wellness and realign so that you can authentically live the life you want to live.

Our Approach to Integrative Psychotherapy:

Here at Well Mind Body Integrative Psychotherapy & Wellness our humanistic, compassionate, whole person approach to mental health is multifaceted and individualized to your needs. We believe that you are unique and we honor your current life stage and individual circumstances. We know life throws curve balls that we could have never predicted and we are here to help you channel those detours in a way that serves you.

We are passionate about meeting you where you are.

Whether you feel you would benefit from psychotherapy alone and/or want to take a deeper dive into lifestyle, nutrition, or brain and gut health, we are here for you.

As Carl Rogers said, “ The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination”.

We are here to help you process, navigate and cultivate connection in this rollercoaster of life.

The Mind Body Connection

With the current rate of mental illness and chronic health conditions rising at a rapid rate in our country, we are passionate about treating the whole person so that you may achieve your goals and live a vibrant life.

The latest research suggests that brain and gut health are important components to mental health. We know that if we have an unhealthy gut, our brain health oftentimes suffers as well. For the clients who are interested, we may be able to dive deeper into what may be contributing or exasperating mental health symptoms such as nervous system dysregulation, nutritional deficiencies, inflammation levels in the gut and brain while also working through current life challenges, previous traumas and life patterns that are no longer serving each client.
