Balancing Autonomy & Connection with Your Teen

I am grateful to have had the opportunity to speak to HSPVA parents for a few years in a row now. This year, I got to present “Balancing Autonomy & Connection with Your Teen”. The delicate balancing act of letting our kids grow up, while also making sure we are teaching them all they need to know can be tough. We discussed what is developmentally appropriate for our teens, boundaries, avoiding power struggles, and when to ask for help.
