The Neuroscience of Screens

This morning, I attended an insightful presentation on “The Neuroscience of Screens,” led by Dr. Crystal Collier. Dr. Collier delved into the profound effects that screens and technology can have on the developing brain, highlighting both the cognitive and emotional impacts. She discussed the neurological changes that occur with prolonged screen use, particularly in children and adolescents, and offered valuable strategies for mitigating potential negative consequences. The session was incredibly informative, offering a deeper understanding of how to navigate technology’s growing influence in today’s digital world.
